Introduction to Theatre Arts

Grades 9-12

Introduction to Theatre Arts will give students a sampling of all aspects of theatre and will trace its development throughout history. The students will be offered the opportunity to act, mime, improvise, design for the stage, and explore career options in the field of theatre.

The full-year course is offered to all students in grades 9-12 for a fine arts credit and is the prerequisite for all continued work in the theatre arts curriculum except for Theatre Appreciation.
