How do I buy a ticket to watch the show in the theater?
Unfortunately, current Virginia Beach City Public Schools guidelines prohibit indoor events from having in-person audience members. We cannot allow anyone not directly working on the production in the facility. However, you will still be able to view the production from the comfort of your home by purchasing a stream pass!
How do I buy a stream pass?
Clicking the link above will direct you to ShowTix4U, the recommended streaming platform for the Puffs rightsholder, Concord Theatricals. You will be directed to the Playhouse Partners Box Office site, where you can choose the evening of Puffs that you would like to view.
What is the runtime for Puffs?
The show runs roughly 2 hours and 40 minutes, including an intermission of 10 minutes.
Is Puffs appropriate for the whole family?
Due to a couple of scenes that contain scary and suggestive moments, Puffs is not recommended for audience members under 10.
What is "Playhouse Partners"?
The Playhouse Partners are the parent booster club that supports the Patriot Playhouse and the theatre program at First Colonial High School. They are a non-profit organization dedicated to giving First Colonial theatre students the best possible experience during their high school theatre career.
Can I make an additional donation beyond my stream pass ticket price?
Certainly! We would appreciate any additional donation you would like to make, and those donations are not subject to the hidden transaction fees associated with a stream pass.
I purchased my stream pass. Now what?
After purchase, check your email for the link with the access code to watch the video. The video itself will become active 20 minutes before the broadcast on the evening of the performance.
Can I pause or rewind the production while it is being broadcast?
Unfortunately, no. The technology from ShowTix4U and our licensing agreement with Concord Theatricals do not allow for those features at this time. We will, however, be taking a 10-minute intermission between Acts One and Two!
How do I know if it will work?
We plan to begin the stream 20 minutes before the show with a graphics video and accompanying audio. If you are having difficulty accessing the stream the night of the production, ShowTix4U has a "Live Chat" feature where you can ask questions directly to one of their representatives.
Does ShowTix4U have an app that I can use to watch the production from a streaming device already plugged in to my TV?
No, ShowTix4U's video playback is now only functional for Internet browsers. To view Puffs on your TV, you will need to connect your computer to the TV with an HDMI cord.
Can I still buy a stream pass after the event has started?
Yes, you can still purchase a stream pass up until 1 hour after the event has started on the evening of the performance. However, you will not be able to rewind to watch the production from the beginning, so we recommend acquiring your pass much earlier!
