2026 Sky Curtis Memorial Scholarship


Members of International Thespian Society Troupe 3178 who have experience in both acting and technical work and who are pursuing training in theatre either at a college or university or a trade-specific training program are encouraged to apply! ​

Deadline to apply: April 17, 2026 (Friday)

To apply, follow these instructions:

  • Review the Sky Curtis Scholarship Information document for information about Sky, requirements, and selection criteria.
  • Complete the Cover Sheet and print a paper copy.
  • Submit your packet of a 1. Cover Sheet, 2. Theatrical Resume, and 2. Essay to your theatre director or Playhouse Partners, c/o First Colonial High School, Virginia Beach, VA, 23454.

The $500 Sky Curtis Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually by the Playhouse Partners to a graduating First Colonial student and Troupe 3178 Member demonstrating excellence in technical theatre and a variety of experience in the theatrical arts.
